孔版印刷的原稿該怎麼做呢?

初次接觸孔版印刷,大家可能都會有點一頭霧水,什麼是分色,又該怎麼分呢?

孔版印刷跟絹印、版畫等等的原理相同,簡單來說就是『顏色是主角,一色一版』,顏色的堆疊構成圖像

做圖的構思與分圖層的概念就很重要囉!

這時候就是訓練大家視覺想像的時候了,其實只要做過一次,就會越來越熟悉的。下面我們給大家一個簡單的示範。


The very first time people meet Risograph printing, were probably a little bit confused, including us. How to set up the file? What is color seperation and how to do it?

Put if simply, Riso is similar to screen printing and printmaking. To prepared your artwork, separating out each color layer will be important.

Color is the main character, one color, one master. You have to assemble colors you prefer to construct the image.



如果您的圖想要使用三個顏色如上,那就必須以分色的方式製作出三個黑白檔案,並指定您要的顏色,印出您的作品,分色的方法有很多,包括直接以PS分色、分圖層製稿,用特殊色等等,不過條條大路通羅馬,只要能了解分色的原意,相信聰明的大家很快就會想到自己的分色方法,我們也會與大家分享。Like if you would like to print a work with tree colors up there. You have to prepare three files and do the color-seperation. There are many ways of it, Photoshop, layers or pantone colors. But once you understand how to prepare the file for risograph printing. We believe that you will figure your own color-seperation style very quick.


下面這邊,我們還是以一個實際印刷的四色作品,做詳細一點的講解

這個是一個四色孔版印刷作品
使用了經典藍、帽貝色、錫蘭黃與螢光粉色
所以我們必須準備四個黑白檔案如下:

This is a 4-color Risograpjh-printing work comprised of Yellow, Phosphor, Lime and Classic Blue.
So we have to prepare 4 grayscale files of each color.

一個印刷色,一個檔案,幾個顏色就有幾個檔案。


檔案的格式可以是PDF,PSD,AI或是JPG皆可,而檔案的顏色濃淡,須以黑白方式(即K值)呈現,黑色越黑即代表您選的顏色會越深。
這張作品共有四個顏色,就要如圖儲存四個顏色的黑白檔案,並以您希望印製的顏色命名該檔案。


How many color you use, how many files you have to prepare.

Your file can be in Illustrator, PDF, PSD or JPEG (300-600 dpi), and no transparency.
Just like the works up there with 4 colors, so you have to prepare 4 files and named each file with the color you chose.


而Risograph機器會一色接著一色的製版,並且印出,如下圖這樣


接下來就是將他們重複地放入印刷機,對準位置,將顏色疊起來,構成您的作品了,如下圖我們可以看到三個顏色,黃色,粉色與冒被色已經疊出了大致上的圖形。

The next thing we have to do is to put them into Risograph machine a few times (depends on how many colors you use). Then we will adjust the position, matching the colors, finally forming your image.



這裡我們就用最後還沒上色的經典藍單色做示範,灰階是如何轉轉換為藍色的,如下圖左為藍色原稿,右圖為印出的樣子With the last color, classic blue, we can see how gray-scale file turned into the color you choose.


最後所有的顏色集合完畢,我們就有了以下的作品
Finally, all the colors come out together, we have our work done.

在這張成品中,螢光粉色也還是有些許明顯的錯位,我們都會經過不斷的對位,做出調整來達到想要的效果,所謂想要的效果,也因人而異囉,但這個螢光粉的錯位,我們覺得意外的像是反光的效果,反而滿喜歡的呢,這正是riso的迷人之處了~In this work, the phosphor color in this work is still a little bit misregistrated. We always keep matching "correctly" as possible as we can. But the phosphor which misregistrated is a little bit like reflecting in our opinion. That's exactly the charm of Risograph printing. Isn't it?


「孔」版印刷?

孔版印刷,顧名思義,它是以機器在版上燒出孔洞來構成圖案的深淺,所以許多客人會有疑問:「我們喜歡這種網點的效果,那我們有需要自行在原稿中製作網點嗎?」下面我們用一張印刷物與原稿來為大家解答。






漸層怎麼做?

大家在拉漸層的時候時常會碰到一些問題
確實,在製作RISO印刷檔時有一些特別需要注意的地方唷

混色怎麼混?


如同大家都知道的,黃色+藍色可以混出綠色
黃色+紅色可以混出橘色,藍色+紅色可以混出紫色等等等...
我們有目前提供22色的油墨,大家可以算算看我們這樣能混出多少色囉~
關於混色,也有一些需要注意的小地方與訣竅

不過上圖只是其中一個範例
若是以淺色混深色,那淺色的濃度可以調整到90%也沒有問題唷!
不過這邊也提醒大家,金色墨因為較為特殊,與其他顏色的混色效果不會那麼顯著
當然混色的成果與喜歡的效果因人而異
